It is hard for me to believe that it's been 3 years since I held that sweet tiny baby, heard his cry, and smelled his sweet baby smell. Some days it seems like yesterday, but three years just doesn't seem possible.
We had a good day remembering, but to be honest I didn't find the time like I wanted to days leading up to his birthday to process everything. That's life I suppose - and I'm thankful for early mornings, productive nap times and overall very busy days with the boys.
His presence is so missed, and we long for the day we are all together.
We did several RAOK in his memory, and I can't wait to share with you all the wonderful acts others did in his name. It meant so much!
We came home from Louisville Saturday and spent that afternoon doing our balloon release for Christian. This has become a
tradition that we all enjoy.
We grilled out and let Chase stay up a little later than usual. :)
Chase worked so hard on his balloons, writing his and Will's name and putting stickers on as well.

Until we opened the package and realized it was as big as Chase and the flame was quite large. We were too afraid we would light the neighborhood on fire.
It was so pretty, we just didn't feel safe letting it go! :)
