a rare three hour nap.
Sunday evening Chase woke up around midnight telling me his tummy hurt. After a potty break he began throwing up and didn't really stop until 4 or 5 in the morning. I joined him around midnight. We ended up sleeping {if you can call it that} in his twin bed together next to a trash can. It was terrible. He was scared as he had never thrown up before. We had a good run. 1 day shy of his 5th birthday. Poor thing.
It finally stopped, but Monday we were both so tired. I worried we would pass it around - so far so good. Wes was a SAINT. He took time off and cared for us with zero complaints, and for Will so that I could rest. I nursed Will when it was time for him to eat, and other than that we tried to avoid contact with him. How miserable is that?
We are feeling much better, and luckily Chase didn't have school Monday so he didn't have to miss. His appetite was lacking for a few days but now he's doing better.
In closing, we are not fans of the stomach flu and we are very ready for spring!
