Will {9 month update}

Little mister is 9 months old, and a busy little thing!
He crawls like a little bear cub, knees up - cause ain't nobody got time for that!

He still lights up when Chase enters a room.

He is waving, saying na na, da-da but no signs of ma ma. :)
so big!

He loves to clap, do "so big!" and squeal and pull up on everything: walls, push toys, couches, chairs.
His newest trick is making a funny sound that sounds like he is clearing his throat really loudly to get your attention or to "talk" to you.
His new favorite thing is walking with his push toy! All over the house, every day all day. He gets frustrated when he hits a wall and looks back at you to help. :)
He has also began to stand on his own for a few seconds here and there.
Perhaps we have an early walker on our hands?!
He is generally wiggly during diaper changes and changing clothes for the day can be a challenge!
He stays in his pjs a lot!
I love how he looks down at his legs, "I'm really doing this!"
he'll chew on anything.

He now has two new teeth, four total.
His top left and top right are the two new additions!
He wears a Baltic amber teething necklace during the day.
He seems to be a little less fussy than before, but who knows!

He is loving solid food and enjoys peas, noodles and bananas a lot. Puffs and yogurt melts are favorites as well. Nursing is going great and he eats every 3-4 hours during the day.
nothing sweeter.

Naps are great and down to two a day.
We are on the 2-3-4 schedule: he naps 2 hours after he gets up, then 3 hours after that wake up is his 2nd nap, and 4 hours after he wakes up from that nap is bedtime. It works great for us!
His morning nap is usually about an hour and a half and his afternoon nap is more like a 30 minute cat nap. We are trying to put him down a bit earlier to see if that helps prolong his afternoon nap.
Valentine's Day morning, I found him like this.
As content as could be, just chilling out on his back, waiting for us to come in.

He is sleeping better at night overall. He isn't waking 2-3 hours after he goes to bed and will often only get up once. Almost afraid to type it but he has slept about 10/11 hours straight the past 4 nights.
He always goes back down for a few more hours after that, getting a total of about 11-12 hours nightly. I started keeping the lights on at night when nursing him, then I put him in the crib and turn off the lights. I think it has helped him realize it's ok to fall asleep on his own in the crib. It has really helped with him going down on his own for naps! Yay for that!

His nine month appointment went well!
Weight: 20 lbs., 4 ounces (41%)
Height: 29 3/4 inches (88%)
OFC: 18.5 (88%)

Everything else checked out great. He was due for one shot and was NOT a fan.
He was due for a nap at this appointment and slept like a log that afternoon.

 rotten.

Happy 9 months sweet Will!
You are pure sunshine!
