Evansville and Holiday World

I realized today that I haven't blogged in two months, I guess you can say we've had a fun summer! :)

Trying to get up to date on here including a trip to Evansville and Holiday World this summer!

 Chase got to see Santa in July. He let him know he still really enjoys Legos.

Father's Day

Father's Day weekend was a relaxing one around here! Saturday night I sent Wes out with a few friends to a craft beer festival here in town.

Chase and Will had lots of fun homemade gifts for Daddy including some hand/footprint art and a stepping stone.

 

 Strawberry stuffed french toast and turkey bacon for Daddy's Day breakfast.

 

 Chase helped me write some "why we love Daddy" notes to leave around the house!

 Some of our fun crafts we made for Wes and the other awesome Dads we know and love!

We are so blessed to have Pop, Uncle Rob and Uncle Derek in our boys' lives.

Father's Day recap

We had a nice day spending time together in the park after dinner and taking a few photos by Christian's tree. It has really grown since it was first planted!

 A treat for Daddy that we enjoyed too: homemade strawberry pie with strawberries we picked earlier in the week!

Happy Father's Day

It's Father's Day!

I have to say, I am so blessed to have Wes.

I've always known it, and today I get to brag on him a little.

He works HARD, and has just been the most amazing help to me!

When Will has a rough night, he gets up early with him and lets me sleep in for another hour or so until it's time for Chase to get up. He has taken on a lot of extra responsibilities around the house and takes Chase to things so I can have some time alone with Will.

Plus, he has to put up with me! He's a real saint! :)

 

All three of our boys are blessed to have him as a father. He is truly one of a kind!

We drove back from Chicago on Father's Day, but celebrated at home that afternoon!

Father's Day

It's not enough to say on this blog how much Wes means to me and Chase, or how much we love our own Fathers. On this Father's Day, there is peace in knowing that our sweet Christian is in heaven playing with my Dad, who was no doubt one of the funniest and loving Dads around. I can only imagine what the two of them are doing!

 

Wes is a fun, loving, gentle, hands-on Dad, always there to make Chase laugh and feel safe. This kid lights up when his Daddy walks in the room...
