Breakfast with the Grinch - this was a big surprise for the boys. They LOVE the movie, the book - all things Grinch - so having breakfast with him was a big treat. He was in FULL character, grumpy and hilarious. Will gave it right back to him and cracked us all up when he told the Grinch he didn't smile for the picture. :)

Mimi treated the boys to a stuffed Grinch to snuggle with at home!
One of my favorite parts of the trip was an exhibit called ICE - where 40 artists from China took one month to carve over 2 million pounds of Rudolph themed ice sculptures. It was 9 degrees in there with four 2-story ice slides at the end. Amazing!
crystal clear nativity - breathtaking!
The hotel grounds are breathtaking - The resort staffs 40 horticulturists and they stay busy! The poinsettia tree, with 15,000 plants, is my favorite. We also enjoyed the parade of Christmas trees (top is Dolly Parton's and the bottom is the Nashville Ballet, complete with pointe shoes!)
The boys enjoyed the light/water show set to music!
