Christmas

So I'm trying a new thing - I meal plan on Sunday nights so after I order my groceries online, I'm going to try to update the blog. We will see how it goes. Hopefully I'll be back before spring. :)

Christmas was great. We went to Louisville for a visit before hand, then traveled to Nashville, TN to the Opryland Hotel (more on that later), celebrated Christmas at home and then with the Buentes after Christmas. We made lots of memories and there are lots of photos to share!

Starting off with some of our Christmas traditions, old as well as a few new ones!

Our elf Chip came back and was sillier than ever!
Writing (and mailing) our Santa letters

Caroling at a local nursing home with MOPS
Breakfast with Santa at Will's school
One of our favorite new traditions, the live nativity

Meeting Santa and one of his reindeer at the library with his friend Maddy - they totally coordinated that night and it was TOO CUTE!

 MOPS Leadership Christmas party
Christmas cookies!

Children's museum with Hudson and Maddy

Meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus at Reynold's Farm Equip, a first for us!

 Chex Mix time!

Our church opened its doors to a brand new building in early December and the boys got to go see their awesome new rooms!
 Gingerbread house decorating
Playing in the snow with Chase's buddy Easton
Will's class party - the craft was a big hit!
 Gingerbread cookies with Mimi
Wes and I had a 24 hour getaway downtown. We had dinner at Prime 47 and walked around and relaxed!
 Chase's class party at school!

Next up, we headed to Louisville for Christmas a bit early. We got to watch Breanna at a basketball game, she did AWESOME!

We also got to celebrate Mom's birthday with a fun dinner out at Bravo.
