Chase and I had some fun with the white fluffy stuff this week. Can you believe he has never really been out to play in the snow? I know, deprived, this child.
I was determined to change that!
First, we brought some snow inside and talked about it. We talked about what snow is, all the properties of it, you know - all the boring stuff! We even threw some red sprinkles in there for good measure.
After a few dirty looks crazy eye rolls and a pouty "can we go play in the snow now MOM?" face, we went for it:
And he loved it.
And I loved watching him in it.
He ran.
And played.
And he watched it blow around.
And explored!
It was SOOOOoooOOOOoo very cold, so our exploration lasted about 10 minutes before we both couldn't feel our faces.
But it was worth it!
