Today is the first entry of a new blog "feature" I am starting called "What I Love Wednesday!" There have been so many times I have found something I love that I have wanted to share to my blog-land readers. The things I share with you will probably run from a new recipe I've found to a fun activity I do with Chase. Not shocking that the first one is food-related.
Life Changing Salsa
I am a BIG fan of The Pioneer Woman. In the land of blogging, she is on my "must read just about every day" list. She is a crafty crafter, a homeschooling guru, a gifted photographer, and an awesome cook who has her own cookbooks and most recently a new cooking show on The Food Network (Saturday mornings)! I recently read her entry about her love of salsa and had to try it.
I seriously may never buy salsa in a jar again. It's that good. Notice how I don't have an "after" photo, just a shot of all the ingredients thrown in together? That's because it didn't last long enough in our house to take a photo. (We really like our salsa) The only thing I changed was I didn't use a whole jalapeno and the seeds, I used half and no seeds. I don't like it really spicy, and this had just enough kick. I also don't have a food processor so I just divided up the ingredients and used the "pulse" option on my blender and it worked out fine.
