23 months old!

It's almost impossible to believe our little man is only one month away from his 2nd birthday...

Chase is so very talkative these days and is so expressive! He is becoming assertive in what he likes and doesn't like, some mornings not quite ready to get out of bed and saying no no Mommy or Daddy! He is attached permanently to 3-4 things: a small stuffed panda bear, a Case tractor plastic cup, a small stuffed puppy, and his lovey. One of these items (usually cup or panda) travels with us on our daily errands, to Target, the grocery or post office. They are special. :) Favorite new words lately are panda and cup (shocking!), kiss, Abby (Cadabby), again, rain, up and down, and home. Oh and did I mention no? :) He loves to observe things and tell us what he sees: "This green Mommy" or what he wants: "Again Daddy!" We don't like to put our coat on these days but we love our favorite brown hat and ONLY that hat for now. We still love to run and play basketball and soccer around the house with Dad. Mom is often told "no no" as it's a game just for them. I'm ok with that. :)

 The boys in the kitchen at Bryce's birthday party. Chase later got his finger stuck in a folding chair and I was more truamatized than he was! He still had the most fun at the party and of course loved the CAKE! :)
