At the beginning of June, Will still had a cough that seemed to never go away. Then he spiked a low grade fever so I took him in. He had a 102 temp. and a very small ear infection in his left ear. He had been to his 6 month ear check at the ENT the week before and was all clear and his tubes looked great. So they said it was something viral and we had him on an antibiotic for 10 days. The next few days were scary as his fever got to 104.2 on a few occasions. After crying on the phone with the nurse, I started alternating Tylenol with Motrin and it improved, but he was pitiful and it was scary.
We were hosting some international students for dinner that evening and he fell asleep in my arms during dinner. For anyone who knows Will, that was very rare. It was just soooo sick. I'm so happy he is better because even though I enjoyed the snuggles, we missed our silly and wild boy!
