Disney Day 2 {Magic Kingdom Day 1 of 2}

Day 2 of our Disney World trip was Magic Kingdom -- our favorite park of the trip.
I hadn't been since I was a little kid, and I loved how throughout the day memories would come back to me!

Seeing the castle for the first time - magical!
In front of the teacups. It wasn't until I was editing photos that I noticed he has a mouthful of raisins. Sorry 'bout that. :)

Meeting Pooh!
Chase's favorite character is Winnie the Pooh, and this moment was it for us:
I loved how they took their time with us, we didn't feel rushed, and they made it really special for Chase.

I mean seriously.
After Chase told Pooh, "You are my favorite," Pooh took Chase over and they shared some honey together.
I may have gotten a little misty watching that.

Character Meal with the gang from Winnie the Pooh at the Crystal Palace:

We decided to play it by ear on the fireworks and parade (which started about an hour after Chase's normal bedtime) as to what night we would do that. We had planned for two days at MK, and on this magical day Chase took a nap on our break, so we decided to go for it!

The castle at night was unbelievable. The photos don't do it justice.
We would just stand and stare!

So glad I got a photo of Will and his "D" - for Disney of course - a foam bath toy we brought. He logged hours chewing on that thing, and on the last day we lost it. Then he just chewed on his toes.
Watching the parade

Disney was Chase's first real firework experience!

What a FUN day!

Our favorites/tips from MK:
Meeting characters (use the app to see where and when they will be appearing, lines can get long!)
Chase loved getting their autographs. We decided to forego the typical autograph book and instead I bought a frame with a mat for autographs. I kept it in Wes's backpack in a gallon ziplock bag with two black sharpies and pulled it out whenever we met a character. We just about ran out of room for the characters he wanted, so this doesn't even include everyone we met. But it does include his favorites!

Electrical Parade (grab a spot early along Main Street, it gets CRAZY once they rope it off)
Fireworks (main street is a good spot for this and that way you won't get stuck in a log jam trying to get out with a stroller. We left immediately after and got on the ferry back to the Lodge with no issues.)
Character Lunch (figure out who you want to meet the most and schedule it up to 180 days in advance)
The rides we loved include:
Buzz Lightyear (Chase rode numerous times), Dumbo, Teacups, Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin's Carpet ride, Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (adorable!), Peter Pan's Flight, Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, Tomorrow land Speedway (race cars), and Disney World Railroad (a great mode of transportation from one area of the park to another). We also explored Tom Sawyer's Island for a bit on our second day at MK.
