We took Chase to A Day Out With Thomas a few weeks ago. Our tickets were for the day after we said goodbye to Lilly. It turned out to be a blessing to have something fun to do with Chase to get us out of the house and doing something that we knew would be joyful.
A Day Out With Thomas is held on a couple of weekends in the summer in Connersville, Indiana. I didn't know what to expect. They had lots of things to do while you waited for your Thomas ride. Chase enjoyed the train rides, train tables, train tattoos, entertainment/music/magic shows, and a funny water-squirting firetruck. We went on a day when the high was only 86, so weather-wise it was great! The train is open-air so it was definitely a blessing that we didn't go during one of these 100 degree days we've been having! :)
Here are the photos from our day!
This gal's got mad train driving skills!
first pony ride!
And then it was time for our ride on Thomas!
All aboard!
This was the face Chase would make when Thomas blew his whistle!
He left as an official Jr. Engineer!
