Things I Don't Want to Forget...1st installment

The moments are fleeting, Chase is almost 2! As he begins to talk more and more I wanted to start a new segment here so I don't forget them! These little snippets of life pass me by so quickly, and in that moment I want to freeze time and take a mental snapshot so I don't forget what Chase said or did. So here goes the first one...

I Don't Want To Forget....
1. The way you learned to say candy cane at Christmas then and then found my Snoogle (aka pregnancy pillow) a few weeks later in our bedroom and called it a "big candy cane!"
2. The way you make yourself laugh sometimes in the back seat of the car making the funniest noises.
3. The way you shake your finger and say "no no Mommy (or Daddy)" when you aren't quite ready to get out of your crib and start your day.
4. The sweet sound of you telling me "night-night" as I walk out of your room at night.
5. The way you say ma ma instead of Amen when you pray and how you are always folding your hands ready to pray before meals and wait patiently (well ok sometimes you sneak a piece of fruit or a chicken nugget!) for us to join you.
6. When you learned to say love you "luv-ooo!" and how your little lips stick out when you say it. You may not know the power behind the words just yet, but it melts our heart just the same...
