Our little man is 22 months old this week. I feel like I say this all the time, but it's something new every day with him. He is now talking in 2 words phrases all the time. Loves to say Hi Mommy, Hi Daddy, Hi Lilly! When I give him graham crackers he looks at Lilly and says "No, no, no Crackers Lilly" and shakes his little finger. What attitude! :) He has many new words: big, tree, home, wait, cocoa, Pete (as in Purdue Pete!) candy cane, paint, ring, coat and of course no! He's still a great sleeper except for periodically skipping naps the past few weeks. He will just play in his crib and not nap. Not sure if it's a growth spurt but I hope it passes. He loves all the Christmas decorations, especially the tree and all the lights from Snow Village. He points and says "this light!" to each one every night as we turn them on. It's been a lot of fun reading Christmas books, singing songs and sharing cookies and other treats. He now knows about 21 letters of the 26 and will say them when we point to them. He loves to point out letters on things in stores when we are out and about. He's just getting too big and becoming such a little man! It's bittersweet and I just can't believe he'll be two in February.
