The Buente Family: 19 months!

I have been way behind on getting the 19 month update on here. Chase is doing great! The other day I weighed him on our home scale and he was 25 lbs. He's in size 4 diapers, has been for several months now. He's still sleeping like a champ (7:30am-7:30pm) and napping 1.5-3 hrs daily. His personality is sweet as can be and very loving. He still loves to say hi to everyone everywhere we go and loves to give kisses and say bye bye. He is still completely enamoured with clocks. He will find them anywhere we go. Sometimes I hear him say it and think there aren't any clocks in here... and sure enough, there is one! :) He is really starting to communciate his needs when we say point to what you want or "show me." Sometimes it's frustrating when he doesn't know how to express himself. We can see little hints of the "terrible twos" poking through on certain days. The smallest thing can be upsetting. He started to "hit" his toys or whatever is nearby and sometimes throw a toy or blanket in frustration. I started timeouts and using the counting method right before hand as a warning. He might be starting to understand it! :) He is currently working on letters and on a good day knows C, B and E! He loves to be outside and we have visited the park near our neighborhood a lot and we are loving the cooler weather. Here are some recent shots of our little man!
