Teeth and First Fever...

This past week was rough as Chase's fever spiked one afternoon and eventually went down after taking some pain reliever. We know we are BLESSED beyond measure and we thank God daily for his health, as he is almost 17 months and this was his first fever. It was 101.4, which I thought was too high for  teething, and when I called the pediatrician she mentioned strep since he wasn't tugging at his ears or crying when laid down which indicate an ear infection...  but it went away and hasn't been back so we are thankful for that! Chase now has 14 teeth! The top two eye teeth are halfway through and then the bottom molars made their way. Last week during the temp spike his top molars were coming in. They are just now budding and look so red and painful. He has been extra fussy and clingy and drooly, but still sleeping through the night, which is a huge blessing!
Hey Mom, I don't feel well!
Ahh, thanks Dad - that feels great!
Back to his old self. This picture CRACKS me up as he's been doing this for a while with the remote and I was finally able to capture it. And no, he isn't sunburnt, still learning the new camera. :)
Peekaboo!
This is the froggy we found in an egress window and set free this week. I thought it was going to be a very climactic moment, but Chase didn't care at all. :) Pretty cute froggy though!
