We have been on operation "pack the house" when Chase naps, so the blog has been neglected. Oops! We are closing at the end of the month, so I have been packing and spring cleaning at the same time.
Chase is doing great. He is standing on his own more and more and getting very brave when moving from one toy to the couch, or, because our house is full of boxes, from one box to the next. He's having a LOT of fun playing with them, in them, on them, etc! He has a few new teeth on the bottom that came in this past week. One popped through first and a few days later the other one came in. He isn't really bothered by them at all and this time he wasn't snotty like he has been in the past which has been wonderful. He's sleeping a little later now with the time change and so now I get to sleep in until 7 most mornings which feels like HEAVEN compared to 6 am. Chase has only taken one nap each day for the past 5 days. I'm not sure if he is transitioning early to one nap, but he has slept later which then pushes his morning nap back, but then his naps are getting longer so I've been cutting the 2nd nap out. Don't get me wrong, I love that 2nd nap, but it's a lot easier to get out and run errands when I don't have to get him home for that 2nd nap (he is not an "on the go" napper or a "lovin' the car seat for long periods of time" kind of dude). We shall see. As soon as I think we are in a new pattern it will change :)
Here are some photos to catch us up!
Building Forts
In his hideout
In the swing by our current neighborhood. He wasn't sure about it.
Lilly is excited about the move too. We hope she adjusts well!
Snuggling with Mimi
Here's a funny video from my Mom's visit. Chase loves to say La La and we aren't sure if it's for Lilly or La La as in the Elmo theme song from Sesame street. He loves both. :)
